Relationships - when to HOLD ON and when to LET GO

When you are in a relationship it’s really important to know where you stand. It’s important to know what feelings you have for your half and it’s necessary to know what she/he feels for you too. But due to many factors, this may not be possible so how to know when to keep on going and how do you know when you are swimming against the current?

Well, one of the most important things to do is prioritizing: thinking of what you want to achieve and what you expect of this relationship. If things are going opposite of where they should, maybe it’s time for a change.

Think of what you like about your partner. Are the things you like more essential then the ones you hate? If they are then there’s a good reason for you to hold on.

Can you be absolutely truthful to your half? If so, then keep going.

Fights occur many times and they have various reasons. Try to find what started them. If there is a reason then it’s normal, but if it’s a fight that started for no reason it may be time for reevaluating.

Think of the things that you liked to do in the beginning of the relationship. Do you still like most of them? If so, then you’re going in the right direction.

These are some of the things you might want to think about when things are not going so great in your personal life.

It’s good to have someone by you but it’s wrong to have him/her just because of habit.
